Hi! So I'm new here, like pretty much everyone else xD But I was just slightly confused. So, how is this laid out? Is it a bunch of different kingdoms? Or like just a scattered, wild land where anyone can live pretty much anywhere that it makes sense? Maybe something in between? I'm just a little thrown off by the many large scientific names I guess. But is any sort of big cat on the list considered a jaguar, even if they're not, like a puma or an ocelot? And most of all (and don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that this isn't cool) but what's the point of this? Like where is my character trying to get to? Thank in advance!

Well, the roleplay takes place pretty much over a whole continent, along with the ocean and few islands, and just like in the real world, the habitants of the individual places don't know of the ones living somewhere else, maybe with the exception of the big "cities" like Villa Corvida, Endless Caves and Aztec Empire, that are known world-wide (though some peasants from the desert probably won't know about them).
As for the jaguars, we simply needed a word to summarise all South American feline species.
And the reason why we have so many different places is so that everyone can choose where to play and who to play as. For example, if the setting was only in the jungle, people wouldn't be able to play as seagulls, terns, fulmars and penguins. If it took place only in northern hemsphere forests, people wouldn't be able to play as ocelots, fruit bats, macaws, etc etc.
