Welcome to Suodimi, a brand new roleplaying forum, where you play as either a bird, a bat or a jaguar.
Suodimi is a semi-realistic roleplay with detailed world and many and many species you can choose from. Actually, you can play as any bird, bat and jaguar species that exist, let it be beautiful bird of paradise, unusually colored painted bat, majestic golden eagle, proud jaguar, huge flying fox, or a common domestic chicken. And another good message - you can have as many of them as you want!
Roleplay is liquid time, you can post in as many threads as you like, as long as you can keep track of them and have a timeline set in your head.
This site is our first creation, so some things might be a little bit clumsy, but with some help in the Suggestions board we will soon rise to greatness.

How to start
First off, you need to read the Rules, and we recommend to also read the threads Ranks, List of species, Lore and List of places to have a better picture of how the world of Suodimi looks and works
Then, what else - creating a character. First check Used names to see which names are already taken, then look at Bans and Encouragements to learn what is forbidden when creating a character. Then copy the code from Character application and you can begin. If you have any trouble with names and personality, you can check out the threads Traits list and Struggle with names?. When you are done and your character is accepted, post in Allegiances and Used names.
In case you don't have any ideas for a character, you can check the Adoptions board and get a character here!
If you have an interesting plot for your character, search for friends or love interests, or you have too many characters to keep track of them, you can post in Tracking/Plotting board.
If you are going to be away for more than a week, post in the Newcomers and Absences board.
Every two months there will be an activity check, members who don't post here will have their accounts deleted, so keep an eye on this!

This site took inspiration from the books Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky, Silverwing by Kenneth Oppel and Warriors by Erin Hunter.
Biggest inspiration and motivation was a ProBoards bird roleplay site Soloreign, a nicely done site which sadly died out before it could even start.
Trials were inspired by Trials on Ataxia, a great warrior cats roleplay site. Villa Corvida's was inspired by Hurricanes' trial from the movie Zambezia. Endless Caves's Trial took inspiration from one story from a collection of dragon stories. Aztecs' trial was created after Razar's character Taki Taki and her blue feather decoration. Mtulu's Tribe took inspiration from African tribes' rituals and a deleted scene from James Cameron's Avatar.
Villa Corvida was inspired by Soloreign's Jaka Dalho'en, also a bird city. Royal Raven Family took inspiration in Ataxia's DawnClan Royal Family.
Endless Caves and Council of Elders were inspired by Silverwing's Hibernaculum and elders.
Aztec Empire was inspired equally by Warriors and real Aztec civilisation.
Mtulu's Tribe took inspiration in native African tribes.
Corine Silver Hook's pirates were inspired by real pirates and pirates from Ice Age 4.
