*Personality: King Corax is a righteous and noble raven who tries to lead his kingdom peacefully, though sometimes he makes impetuous choices which don't usually end well and it requires a lot of work to fix the trouble he unintentionally caused. 

But although he tries to be a good king, he would much rather hunt, read legends and have some rest. In his opinion, his brother would be much better king than himself. But the burden of reign has fallen onto him, so he has to take care of Villa Corvida, and he tries to do so as hard as he can.

Ambitions/goals: His only wish is to be a good king to his vassals, and to have a descendant, to who he could give his crown when he is too old or unable to rule his kingdom.

*Personal history: Ever since they were hatchlings, Corax and his older brother were taught what the King has to know and do. The older son was the one who would inherit the throne and lead the kingdom, but both were educated equally, in case something happened to the firstborn. And they did a good thing.

One day, on a flight over the forests around Villa Corvida the two princes were ambushed by a group of hawk bandits, who wanted to take them as hostages in hopes of getting a big ransom for them. The brothers didn't want to surrender, and they fought fiercely. Unfortunately, Corax's brother was severely wounded and presumed dead. Corax was able to escape the bandits, but almost at the cost of his life.

When he returned home with the horrible news, they didn't have other choice than make Corax the new heir. The young raven wasn't as happy with it as you might hhave expected, in his opinion his brother was a much better choice. If he only could help him back then.
